Room Parents/Caregivers

We are re-imagining Room Parents/Caregivers this year!

Room Parents/Caregivers play an important role in helping to communicate information between the PTO and the greater King community. Think of this role as a voice for families and students from that class/grade level. Communication can take place via word of mouth, through contacts from the PTO directory, social media, and/or through a opt-in email mailing list.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Attend PTO meetings each month (in person or virtually), take notes, and send important information to from the meeting to the rest of the parents
  • Be a liaison between the PTO and the parents in the class- remind parents of PTO events, fundraisers, etc.
  • Become a PTO website member

Cultures of King Day

Are you Native American or 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation American? Maybe your family recently arrived in this country. Or maybe you are not sure when they came, or what your heritage is. Perhaps your family has their own traditions and culture they created. If so, the Cultures of King Day is for you! The United States has long been called a “melting pot” because of all of the different cultures found here. In Framingham, we are made up of many diverse groups of people with different traditions we celebrate. In May 2026 the ELD (English Language Development) department and the PTO are hosting an event to celebrate that beautifully rich and diverse culture found right here at King! This event is paired with the King School Art Show where students get to show off their creations from throughout the year. It's an event you don't want to miss!

2025-2026 Business Sponsors

New this year! We need support from LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESSES!

We’re pulling together a list of the King community’s locally owned businesses for 2025/2026 academic school year for sponsorship opportunities.

Year long sponsors would have the opportunity to have their business advertised to the King community throughout the year through things like yard signs out front of King, on King PTO's social media, at King events, and more!

If you own or work at a local business this opportunity is for you!
